Privacy

Effective date: February 4, 2026.

Tanakh Time is built with a local-first approach to privacy. Your reading, highlights, notes, prayers, and study companion conversations stay on your device by default.

We do not sell your personal data or use ad tracking.

We collect limited usage analytics and diagnostics (for example: app opens, reading progress metrics, feature usage counts, device type, OS version, and locale) to improve reliability and product decisions. These analytics are not used for advertising.

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud database and synced by Apple using CloudKit. Apple manages the encryption and access controls for iCloud.

The study companion runs on-device using Apple Intelligence when available. If a model or OS feature is unavailable, the companion may be disabled.

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your email and may use it to respond and improve support.

You control your data. You can delete local data by removing the app. You can delete iCloud-synced data by turning off iCloud for Tanakh Time in system settings and choosing to delete its data from iCloud.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date here.
